These are the lines I created when listening to "Clarity" by Zedd.

Composition Assignment

 Good Composition

 This is an image of a red fire hydrant with good composition because it is a vertical object and it is taken at a vertical angle. The fire hydrant is off-center which makes the background integrate better with the foreground. Following the fifth principle of design, the hydrant dominates the image and it is the focal point. The image is also bright and is taken in good lighting

Bad Composition

This is the same image of a red fire hydrant but taken at a different angle. It is of bad composition because it is a vertical object taken at a horizontal angle. The object is also in the center of the image which makes it not active in space. The object also has bad color and isn't taken in good lighting.

Good Composition

This image is taken of a tree with good composition because the object is not centered which makes the object integrate with the background. It follows the second principle of design of variety because there are various shapes in the picture including the building and the bushes on the background. It also follows the third principle of design because there is asymmetrical balance of the different tree on both sides. This image also has is taken is good lighting and there is a fair amount of brightness.

Bad Composition

This is an image of branches covered in icicles and it is bad composition because the focus is on the background of the picture instead of the center making the first visible branch (focal point) have a blurry effect. There is a lot of movement but there is no variety. It's hard to look at all the branches because there is no unity in the picture. The blurry branch in the front is a distraction from the other branches in the background.
